The Bundestag is the federal parliament of Germany. It is the only constitutional body in the country directly elected by the German people. Established by Title III of the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany (Grundgesetz) in 1949, the Bundestag, together with the Bundesrat, forms the legislative branch of government at the federal level.

In this committee, Senators will occupy seats in the German Bundestag and be tasked with debating legislation, forming strategic coalitions, switching seats, and writing and amending bills. Welcome to one of the world’s most robust democratic institutions, the German Bundestag. Wir Deutschen fürchten Gott, aber sonst nichts auf der Welt!
